Authentication

In order to login / stay logged in, reciperoom.net stores a JWT (JavaScript Object Notation Web Token). This token is used to verify authenticated requests and should never be shared with anyone. This token does not contain your password and will expire eventually.

Server Client Feedback

In order to show the success, warning, and or error popups. Certain actions will set the response message in the cookie on the server to be consumed by the client. This cookie expires 10 seconds after it is set and contains no sensitive information.

While technically not necesarry for functionality, it does help make the user experience more smooth.
